A thematically provocative, animated feature film combining comedy and comic book action about competitive gods and innocent bystanders in a world rapidly going to hell in a handbasket. On a random Tuesday, LOU HANSKE, a generally unextraordinary 25-year-old Iowan, gets fired from his job, has his car totaled by a falling satellite and gets mauled by a bear...only to be targeted by Reverend AKIA MAY (Deborah Wilson) of the Church of Frank as The Chosen One, foretold by prophesy to travel to Kansas and receive a message from God at a critical time in world history. With his coworker DONNA, the former princess of a small island nation turned scientist and vegetarian, the cantankerous ZEB (Chris Sarandon), and a certain Prince of Hell known as LUCIFER (Tim Curry), Lou must overcome ninjas, thugs, femme fatales, including the nefarious MS. SULTRY (Traci Lords), and the baddest group of Shaolin Monks this side of tranquility, in order to find God, achieve his destiny and temporarily bring everlasting peace to the world.
