Returning home after his father's death Felix is shocked to learn that his mother is now living with his uncle. Feeling that both his mother and his uncle have betrayed his late father Felix leaves the house. In town he meets a maid who tells him that Ciro a servant of his late father Don Diego has something to tell him. Unfortunately Ciro is kidnapped before he gets a chance to tell Felix what's on his mind. When Felix pursues the issue with his mother he is nearly killed by a large boulder pushed on him by unknown hands. But this fails to scare the young man off and his close call only prompts him to further explore the growing mystery of his father's death
