A wandering warrior appears in a Chinese city only to challenge its newly appointed royal bodyguard to a duel. The stranger, called the Thunder Sword, kills the man in front of his two children and vanishes. To get vengeance for their slain father, the children train with the hope of killing the Thunder Sword, though he may not be easy to find.
