Every real-time strategy game has a super-weapon, and in Rise and Fall, the super-weapon is you. Unlike an orbital death ray or a devastating magic spell, Rise and Fall's super-weapon is a warrior-hero of the ancient world, controlled and directed by the player.
Rise and Fall has fully realized naval combat, which plays a vital role in any victory. Use ships to build up your forces at sea during a long sea voyage, and deploy a fresh army upon landing on enemy soil. Use archers aboard ships in the historical equivalent of a naval barrage to take out land and sea targets.
