TOM THUMB- Life isn't easy when you're little, and Tom Thumb earned his name because he really is no bigger then a thumb. When two greedy men "hire" Tom, and turn the poor boy into a circus act, he is finally able to prove his talents. Tom learns to understand that size doesn't matter, and that brains, courage and an honest heart are so much more important. FAITHFUL JOHN- The old servant John would do anything for his lovesick master, Nicholas. He even endures being turned into stone for him, but the young king doesn't seem to appreciate his amazing and impressives loyalty. Then the moment comes when Nicholas recognizes that he is the only person responsible for his actions, and so must bear the consequences.
