Luis escapes from prison and in so doing kills Alicia, Gabino's newlywed wife. Gabino goes north toward the border looking for vengeance. Luis kills his accomplice after making him dig his own grave. Meantime, Gabino beats up and kills a man who provokes him; before dying, the man tells Gabino where Luis is, and Gabino pursues him until he gets his revenge.
