After winning a game card shark Pedro is assaulted on the street by the losing players. Though their faces were obscured he recognized one of the men and manages to wound him. Later he sees the wounded man with a young boy crying beside him. The crying boy watches his father die and Pedro takes the boy under his wing. The boy vows to avenge his father's death not realized exactly who is responsible
